Meet Dr. Michael Fishbaugh (Lima, OH)

In December of 1995 Dr. Michael Fishbaugh graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Prior to that, he graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science, in Biology, and graduated from Celina High School. In December of 1995, he opened his private optometry practice, Fishbaugh Family Eyecare, in St. Henry, Ohio. He was also the primary optometrist at D.O.C. Optical in Lima from 1995-2008. For several years Dr. Fishbaugh provided eyecare services to the majority of the areas nursing facilities. In May 2008, Dr. Fishbaugh expanded his private practice and opened an office in Lima, Ohio also known as Fishbaugh Family EyeCare. In 2023 he obtained ownership of Lifetime Vision Care by Fishbaugh Family Eyecare in Celina, Ohio. Dr. Fishbaugh is licensed to treat eye disease, as well as perform comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings and evaluations, low vision evaluations, myopia control, and vision therapy. In September of 2013 Dr. Fishbaugh earned the title Diplomate from the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Fishbaugh is a member of American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association, Real Eyes, and InfantSee. He and associate doctors are accepting new patients in all three office locations.

Dr. Fishbaugh currently resides in St. Henry with his wife, Pam. He raised three children, Zach, McKenzie, and Jaren, whom have given him wonderful grandchildren. He enjoys spending time outdoors, farming, fishing, and hunting, as well as being “pawpaw“.
